This school year, the American Friends of Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam gives you an opportunity to personally take part in the global movement to create peace between Jews and Palestinians: Adopt the 2nd grade of the Primary School and follow the children as they grow in this unique school over the years. You know how important it is to raise a new generation of young people who understand the meaning of peace and equality, so I’m sure you’ll be excited to join us in supporting the second grade class of 2012/2013. These twenty-five 7-year olds are our common hope for a better future in the region, and together with their teachers you can ensure that they receive an education that respects their culture and traditions as well as their comrades’.
