THE AFNSWAS MAY 2008 TOUR - LIVING WITH THE CONFLICT: A PALESTINIAN AND JEWISH EXPERIENCE FROM THE "OASIS OF PEACE"

On Friday, May 16 at 12 pm EST (9 am PST), join us for a conference call with Ahmad Hijazi and Noam Shuster from the “Oasis of Peace."

In this month of May, Israel celebrates 60 years of statehood, while the Palestinians commemorate 60 years since "Al-Nakba," the Catastrophe. A genuine, durable peace between Palestinians and Israelis seems out of reach. The village of Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam is the only true working example of Jews and Arabs living, working and educating their children together equally with mutual respect and understanding. Ahmad Hijazi and Noam Shuster will share their experience of living together in this community.

To participate, call 1-800-610-4500 (Toll Free in USA and Canada) and enter access code: 235850.

You can also meet Ahmad and Noam, residents of the village: they will be in Los Angeles, the Bay Area and Lexington, KY between May 9th and May 16th for a tour. Join us at our events! Check the schedule below and save the dates:
